PROBLEM INTERVIEW SCRIPT –BARS

Welcome [Set the Stage] (2 minutes):

 

Welcome to our Game Lads presentation. Thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. We are currently working on developing an app connecting sports fans abroad and local bars.

We got the idea after a few of us experienced trouble in finding a proper place to watch specific sporting events in Lisbon, filled with like-minded fans.

We want to understand whether our service could be beneficial for your business and increase your customer base.

The interview will work like this: We’ll start by asking you a few questions regarding your bar/ pub, about sports viewing possibilities, and what kind of solutions we may come up with to support your business in the scope of our idea.

I’d like to stress that we don’t have a finished product yet, but when it becomes available, we would hopefully address all the issues we have discussed and hopefully offer you a better understanding.

Tell a (short) Story [Set Problem Context] (2 minutes)

Let me tell you about a problem that we are tackling regarding travelling and spending time abroad. While spending time abroad we discovered that it can be challenging to watch your favourite sports event at a proper location and with the right people.  We were struggling to find nearby pubs or bars that are broadcasting the event since there was no indication provided if they are showing the event or not. Also, we thought it was difficult to get in touch with other sports fans who share the same enthusiasm.
